This year, for the first time, the Economist Intelligence Unit has produced a ranking of the world\u2019s top distance-learning MBA programmes. Ranking distance-learning programmes is not straightforward. Many of the quantitative data used to rank full-time MBA programmes are of little use when it comes to distance learning. Salary data, for example, are less important because many students do not use the distance-learning MBA as a career break\u2014many will continue in their pre-MBA employment.
